Yesterday it snowed quite heavily here and we were snowed in, which meant that the kids were off school. The only photography I got done was a bit of 35mm snapping of the children sledging. There were some nice tree shots as well, but by the time I spotted the trees, my fingers were so cold it felt like someone had hit them with a hammer. I wanted to go out in the evening to do some night photography, but it was still blowing wet snow sideways. I prefer to go out just after a fresh fall of snow and there seemed no sign of it letting up.
I sat down to watch a DVD with my wife, but fell asleep! when I woke after midnight, it was still blowing sideways and I was too tired to do anything.
